I make using a number of different mediums and materials from painting and printmaking to designing with ceramics, metals and woods. Graduating with a BA(Honours) degree in ceramic design from Central Saint Martin’s College Of Art and Design in 1997 and again in 1999 with a Master’s degree in Industrial design I have found myself travelling a varied creative path.
Since 1999 I have been a practising arts award funded maker/exhibitor, Educator, manager and technician.
Sticking to teaching post 16 education and making I am now curriculum leader for Art and Design, Film and Media at Andover College Hampshire. I am very proud of the creative team that we have at the College and 2014 Ofsted ‘outstanding’ that the department was given.
As a family we enjoy exploring the city, art, science and just in general having fun.
All of these activities fuel my imagination and love for making, so it’s now 16 years since graduation that I find myself launching www.gallerytwenty4seven.co.uk with a view to showing and selling my work and in the future the work of others.
You will find that I have a number of interests from the weather to woodland animals. Only slightly obsessed with The Bauhaus and Modernism you will also see a link to the modern in my work.
I hope you enjoy my work, keep up to date by following me on Instagram helenperry3307
